The minimum and maximum speeds are limited in folding mode depending on the machine
type (PS-50 TP2 and PS-65 TP2) compared to the other operating modes.
A light under the infeed table along the entire working length of the machine indicates when it
is possible to feed in a sheet:
- If the light is on, an item of flat laundry can be fed
- If the light is off, do not feed in another item of laundry because the previous one is
being folded. Wait for the light to come back on before feeding in a new item.
After feeding in the flat laundry item, it is automatically fed into the machine to be dried and
ironed before being folded in the folding machine according to the selected folding mode and
automatically conveyed to the front or back outfeed.
In folding mode, in the running menu (see section 3.3.4) the following is possible:
•
To activate the conveyor (front or back outfeed if the machine is equipped and
configured) manually. Pushing the button starts the conveyor (blue icon) and another
push on the same button stops the conveyor.
•
For long length flat laundry items, it is used to define the width of the 1
The laundry is considered to be long when folding has started before its length has
been determined. As a result, the fold widths could not be calculated so 1
must be defined (set to 15 cm by default).
The width of these 1
automatically calculated depending on the folding mode (note that this parameter
serves no purpose for advanced folding mode because sheet length is user-defined).
•
Back outfeed ejection time: For a machine only fitted with the back outfeed,
in the configuration menu (see section 3.4.3), the back outfeed conveying time which
is set to 4 seconds by default can be managed (maximum 15 seconds). The conveying
time is calculated automatically.
