The machine has 2 Ø153 mm evacuation ducts to connect (except for the electric or steam
heated PS-50/200 TP2 models which have only one Ø153 mm evacuation duct on the right)
located at the back of the machine as shown above.
Each outlet duct must be as short as possible. It should not exceed 5 metres, have more
than 2 90° bends and should have a 2% outward slope in horizontal sections to prevent
condensate from flowing back to the machine.
Each outlet must have its own evacuation to the outside and must be fitted with a check
valve.
IMPORTANT:
•
If it is essential to connect the 2 machine evacuation pipes together, the
following must be respected:
-
The connection must be a "Y" and not a "T" connection, as shown below.
-
The duct diameter must be doubled at the junction of the 2 ducts (2 x Ø
153 mm).
•
If the evacuation duct must exceed 5 metres and 2 bends, it is advisable to
increase the evacuation duct diameter or to add an extraction motor in the duct.
The extraction motor sizing must be calculated by a company specialised in air handling using
the following indications (per motor):
