At the steam outlet, after the steam outlet outside the machine, a cut-off valve (1), a steam
filter (2), a floater purge (3), a check valve (4) and another cut-off valve (5) (equipment not
supplied) must be installed in that order. Furthermore, a by-pass must be installed between
the filter (2) and the check valve (4).

A small connection to the drains is to be provided on the flexible hose of an internal diameter
of about 10 mm which is available in the right machine frame.
The ideal operating pressure is 10 BAR and should never exceed 12 BAR (it is advisable to
install a pressure limiter upstream of the machine's steam inlet).

2.2.7. Vapour evacuation connection
The connection of vapour and burnt gases for a GAS machine to the outside is mandatory
(the evacuation ducts are not provided). Evacuated air must be ducted outside the workplace
and must never be connected to other chimneys which are already used to extract smoke
from other equipment.
The location of these ducts must be within the limits defined by environmental thermal
legislation. The pipe used must be rigid and metallic and should withstand temperature
(150°C) and must never pass too close to flammable materials or materials likely to be warped
or buckled by excess temperature.
The inside of the pipe must be smooth so as not to disturb the air trajectory or contain
elements on which lint can accumulate (screws, rivets, etc...).
Inspection hatches in the ducts are recommended to facilitate regular duct cleaning.
