Troubleshooting
Remedy
❯ Only expose the PSP once.
❯ Check the erasure unit for
proper function.
❯ Inform a service technician, if
the problem persists.
❯ Do not bend the PSP.
❯ Do not handle PSPs without a
barrier envelope.
❯ Store the PSP in a barrier
envelope.
❯ Recording an X-ray image,
make sure there are no metal
parts between the X-ray tube
and the patient.
❯ Check X-ray tube.
❯ Deactivate edge masking.
❯ Increase X-ray dose.
❯ Increase amplification (HV
value).
❯ Select a suitable scanning
mode.
❯ Reduce the threshold value.
