6.1- How to adjust the knives to the rotor counter knife
The correct adjustment of the knives with
the counter knife ensures greater operating
efficiency, better cut quality, less tractor power
and reduced fuel consumption. Should take a
maximum gap of 0.5 mm between knife and
counter knife for best machine performance.
Check the clearance after each sharpening
and adjust as necessary, proceeding as
follows.
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting the
following procedure.
PROCEDURE:
In order to access the counter-knife, it is

first necessary to articulate the platform,
proceeding as described in item 6.3;
Loosen the nuts of the 3 bolts (N);

Loosen the 2 bolts (P);

Move the counter-knife until the gap between

the knives and the counter-knife is not more
than 0.5 mm;
Reinsert the counter-knife by tightening only

the 2 bolts (P). Keep the bolts (N) loose for
now;
Loosen the bolt nuts (Q) and also adjust the

horizontal counter-knife (S);
Retighten the bolt nuts (Q).
7.
Pull the scraper (R) all the way forward;

Keep the bolts (N) loose for now;

Articulate the platform
