4.1- Hydraulic outlet chute
If the Harvester is equipped with a hydraulic chute,
the deflector control and the chute turning are
performed by hydraulic cylinders.
4.1.1- How to regulate the deflector
The deflector function is to direct the jet of
chopped crop in order to facilitate the distribution
of the forage inside the cart.
Connect the two hydraulic cylinder hoses from
the deflector onto the valves from the tractor's
remote control.
Engage the hydraulic control lever located on the
tractor to activate the hydraulic cylinder and move
the deflector.
4.1.1- How to turning the outlet chute
The rotating movement of the outlet chute is
performed by a double acting hydraulic cylinder.
Connect the two hydraulic cylinder hoses from the
chute onto the valves from the tractor's remote
control.
Engage the hydraulic control lever located on the
tractor to activate the hydraulic cylinder and turn
the outlet chute.
NOTE!
The hydraulic flow valve (F) controls
the flow of the oil and, consequently,
the speed at which the chute rotates.
It is important to regulate the opening
of this valve in order to obtain a soft
movement of the cylinder, without
making the chute bounce during
turning. The optimal setting depends
on the flow rate of the tractor's
hydraulic system used.
It is recommended some practical tests
to be performed, so that you can find
the best adjustment: open the valve
a bit, activate the cylinder and observe
the movement. If necessary, repeat
the procedure by changing the valve
opening.
