2.12- Existing risks and necessary actions

Even with the use of appropriate features and built-in safety protections, some
residual risks remain while using this machine. This is due to some functional
components such as drums and drum blades that need to be partially exposed
for proper machine operation.
The following list shows the risks involved in using this machine and the measures
that must be taken by users.
Never approach the drums with the
machine running.
Any contact with the moving drums and
you can be pulled into the machine. Risk
of serious accident with limb amputation
and/or death.
HOW TO ELIMINATE THE RISK:
Never approach the drums and keep a safe
distance from the machine running.
Never try to clean or remove any
material from the running machine.

Never attempt to clean or perform any
maintenance or adjustment when the
machine is in motion. Turn off the tractor,
remove the ignition key, and wait until

before cleaning, adjusting, or servicing the
harvester.
