Move the stone away from the knives by

If the knives are very worn, not
allowing adjustment with the counter
knife, replace all (the complete kit).
A replacement of only one knife will
cause unbalance in the rotor.
When the sharpener stone is very
worn, replace it with a new one as
instructed in this manual.
Always move the sharpener to the
end of its course (end of rails) in both
directions, thus increasing the quality
of the cutting edge. If it does not
move until the end of the stroke, it will
cause an irregular wear on the knives,
damaging the uniformity of the cut.
The presence of people or animals near
the outlet chute during sharpening
procedure is prohibited. During the
procedure, sparks may be released from
the outlet chute and, if they strike people
and animals, they may cause injury to the
skin and eyes.
• Do not try to sharpen the knives with
the machine cover open.
• Never try to sharpen the knives with
the cardans (A) fitted.
• Wear goggles when sharpening.
