Using the same tool, tighten the bolt (J)

After adjusting, rotate the rotor manually
by turning one full turn. Observe carefully
if there is no contact between the knives
and the counter knife. If necessary, repeat
the adjustment, observing the maximum
clearance of 0.5 mm between the knives
and the counter knife.
Operate the machine with a friction of
knives with counter knife will damage the
machine and could result in the release of
fragments that could hit people and cause
an accident involving personal injury.
The use of PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) is mandatory during operation,
maintenance and adjustment of the
machine. Wear suitable gloves and goggles.
Take special care when handling knives
and counter knife, these components have
sharp areas that can cause injury if handled
without proper protection and care.
If the counter knife is worn and does not
allow adjustment, replace it with a new one,
according to the instructions in item 6.7.
