Instrument Selection

In the user menu you can change the preset instrument for the instrument selec-
tion screen (or Auto calibration).
1. Turn the device on as described in chapter 5.3 "Switching On Device".
2. Wait until the device check has finished.
3. Press the (MENU) key. The touch screen depicts User Menu, the correspond-
ing function fields used for navigation. Press the function fields º/» to toggle
between user menu and service menu. The service menu is protected from
unauthorized access with a numeric code only known to the service techni-
cian.
4. Confirm selecting User Menu by pressing the function field (Enter).
5. Press the function fields º until Instrument Selection.
6. Confirm (select) by pressing the function field (enter).
7. Use the function fields º/» to select between Knee, Shoulder, and Hip.
For small joints there is no instrument selection available (always Auto cali-
bration).
8. Confirm (select) by pressing the function field (enter).
9. Use the function fields º/» to select the desired instrument.
10. Save the setting by pressing the function field (enter).
11. Exit the user menu by pressing the function field (exit). The function display
again shows Start pump.
NOTE!
If Auto calibration is the default setting for knee, shoulder and hip, the device
skips the Instrument Selection display after the selection of the respective joint.
