Instrument replacement when Auto calibration is used
Stop the device using the Start/Stop switch if replacing the instrument during
surgery. By next start, the device performs an Auto calibration for the new in-
strument.
WARNING!
Instrument replacement when specific Instrument Selection is used
Stop the device using the Start/Stop switch if replacing the instrument during
surgery. If you are running the device with specific Instrument Selection and
change the Instrument, you have to change the specific selection accordingly.
Otherwise there is a risk of possible overpressure in joint.
WARNING!
Set up the device in such a way as to allow for easy monitoring of the display val-
ues, device functions, and access to the control elements.
WARNING!
Position the device such that it is easy to operate and disconnect.
WARNING!
Device defect
Do not use this device if a defect is suspected or detected during the function
check. This also applies to obvious defects, especially defects and damage of the
power plug and power cable.
CAUTION!
Endoscope
The device may only be connected with endoscopes designed for and featuring
the technical specification permitting such a combined use. Any utilized endo-
scopes must comply with the most recent versions of IEC 60601-2-18 and
ISO 8600.
WARNING!
Fluid bags
The device is only intended for use with flexible fluid containers. Do not use glass
containers as they might break. Fluid cannot flow quickly enough due to the vac-
uum being generated inside of the bottle. Risk of implosion.
