Single Use Cassette Tubing and Day Use Tubing
The FloSteady Arthroscopy Pump (Model 150) is designed for use with Single Use
Cassette Tubing and with a Day Use Tubing.
The sterile packaged Single Use Cassette Tubing consists of cassette tubing with
three tube sections and has to be replaced after each surgical procedure.
The sterile packaged Day Use Tubing consists of Day-Use Cassette Tubing and a
Patient-Use Tubing. Cost-efficiency is increased with the use of the Day Use Tub-
ing if several surgeries are to be performed on one day.
The FloSteady Arthroscopy Pump (Model 150) is equipped with a tube recogni-
tion function that detects the type of tubing once it has been properly inserted.
If the Day-Use Casette Tubing is detected the status field of the display depicts
the message Day-Use Cassette inserted. If the single use set is detected the sta-
tus field of the display depicts the message Single Use Cassette inserted (see also
chapter 5.4.1 and 5.4.3).
WARNING!
Only use the Single Use Tubing if it has been recognized by the arthroscopy
pump as such and the message "Single Use Cassette inserted" appears on its dis-
play.
WARNING!
Only use the Day Use Tubing if it has been recognized by the arthroscopy pump
as such and the message "Day-Use Cassette inserted" appears on its display.
