a. If you select small joint or you have preset Auto calibration in the user menu
(see Chapter 7 User Menu, page 33), Auto calibration is active and the instrument
selection screen will not be displayed.
b. If you select knee, shoulder or hip, and in the user menu an instrument has
been preset for the selected joint (no Auto calibration) the touch screen depicts
the instrument selection.

2. Now you can choose between the most common STRYKER Instruments for
the selected joint or Auto calibration.
In the user menu (see Chapter 7.1 "Instrument Selection"), you can change
the preset instrument for the instrument selection screen (or Auto calibra-
tion).

The first three combinations and Auto calibration are always available. The selec-
tion at the bottom can be exchanged with a combination available at the user
menu.
c. If you have selected knee, shoulder or hip, and you would like to change the in-
strument during a procedure, you can stop the pump and choose a different in-
strument selection by pressing the instrument selection button.
After confirming the instrument selection, the display switches again to Start
pump. If nothing selected after 15 seconds, the highlighted option will be auto-
matically selected and the display will switch back to Start pump.
1. Press the Start/Stop key (13) of the device.
2. A rotating arrow symbol ((5) Fig. 5-1 Device front, page 14) is depicted on the
function display.

After selecting instrumentation and activating irrigation, a dot will appear in-
side the arrow depicted in the square box on the upper side of the display.
