Charging the Battery

The battery pack is automatically charged when connecting the device to the
mains power supply. While the device is in charge mode, the function display de-
picts Charging and "ascending" bars are displayed in the battery symbol.
A fully charged battery pack is indicated on the function display with Full charge
and a battery symbol with 5 bars. The device switches off automatically 5 min-
utes after the battery has been completely recharged.
A fully charged battery yields an operating duration of up to 6 hours (average
time). The actual time depends on the number of battery loading cycles as well
as the energy consumption.
If the device is connected to the mains power supply and switched on, the func-
tion display depicts Charging for 5 seconds. The bars of the battery symbol are
"ascending" until the battery is fully charged. Full charge is then depicted for 5
seconds. The battery symbol has 5 bars.
Only 60 minutes of battery time remaining
If the battery charge has dropped to only 60 minutes operating time during bat-
tery operation:
• an acoustic warning signal is emitted,
• the display depicts Low battery for 5 seconds,
• the battery symbol flashes continuously (one bar left).
Only 20-30 min. of battery time remaining
If the battery charge has dropped to only 20 to 30 minutes remaining during bat-
tery operation:
• Plug in pump flashes on the function display,
• the "empty" battery symbol flashes,
• an acoustic warning signal is emitted every 30 seconds (no bars left).
Connect immediately the pump with the mains power supply.
