4 Operation

4.1 Initial Operation

A general inspection carried out by a competent person is mandatory for initial operation,
section 1.5 „Qualification of Persons".
Cut off the rubber protruding from the

lid (cover plate) for ventilating the oil
container.
Check the oil level of the HD pump used

for cleaning the interior; top up oil (type
SAR90) if necessary.
Clean the grease separator.
Î
Adjust the grease separator controls,

Fill up the grease separator with fresh water up to the at-rest water level (drain
Î
connection pipe bottom):
All types: through the intake pipe or an inspection door.

Alternatively for types -M, -MP (optional for types: -B, -D): through the ball valve of the

fresh water filling unit.
Alternatively for types -A, -AP: Switch on the

The water level will rise automatically up to the lower level in the vessel.
Close inspection doors.

Open the slide in the intake and outlet pipes.

Check the grease separator and all the pipe connections for impermeability.

For models with a disposal and cleaning system: carry out a test run,
