1.7 Storage and Transport
NOTICE To be observed for storage and transport:
Store grease separators in frost-free rooms.

Never drive a forklift or pallet truck direct under the grease separator. Transport the

grease separator on the frame or on a euro pallet if possible.
Also use transport belts.

When transporting the grease separator with a crane or on a crane hook: Fasten stop
■
belts onto the frame or the ring bolts (4),
If possible, do not remove the packaging and transport securing devices until you reach
■
the installation location.
1.8 Decommissioning and Disposal
NOTICE Improper disposal is a risk to the environment. Observe the regional waste
disposal regulations and recycle components.
Completely empty and clean the grease separator before taking it out of operation.
■
Separate plastic components (e.g. gaskets) and metal components. Recycle scrap metal.
■
Electric appliances and batteries may not be disposed of with household waste.
■
Observe regional waste disposal regulations in order to protect the environment.
Dealers are obliged to take back used electrical appliances and batteries.

Meaning
Protective footwear has good non-slip properties, particularly in wet
conditions, good puncture resistant properties (e.g. against nails) and it
protects feet from falling objects (e.g. during transport).
Protective gloves protect hands against infection, slight crushing and
cuts.

A safety helmet protects the wearer's head against low ceilings and
falling objects (e.g. during transport).
