ENGINE OIL (Check daily)
1. Change engine oil and filter every 100 hours
(See engine manual for more information.)
a) First warm up the engine. Shut off engine
when warm.
b) Loosen bolts holding access cover R on the
bottom of fuel tank and pivot to the side
c) Remove oil drain plug and drain the oil from
the sump.
b) Clean plug and replace.
e) Remove oil filter V.
f) Apply a thin film of oil to the seal of the new
oil filter and install on engine.
g) Refill sump with the recommended engine
oil (see below).
h) Start the engine and allow to run for 2
minutes and check for leaks.
i) Shut off the engine allow to stand for 2
minutes
j) Recheck oil level with dipstick and adjust as
necessary. Always check level of oil on the
dipstick. To obtain the correct measure-
ment, the machine should be on level
ground.
NOTE: After the oil has been added, wait one
minute and then check level of oil again with the
dipstick.
Recommended oil types:
– API CC/SE MIL-L-46152 CCMC D1
– API CD/SE MIL-L-2104C CCMC D2 (use only
after first 50 hours of operation)
