FORWARD/REVERSE FOOTPEDAL
With the engine running and the footpedal latched
into the neutral position, the tractor should remain
stationary. If it moves, correct as follows.
IMPORTANT - Shut engine off between each
adjustment.
WARNING - Properly support raised machinery
with jacks.
1. Lift drive wheels off of ground.
2. Remove balljoint B from footpedal, let hang.
3. Start machine and check if wheels turn. If
wheels turn shut off engine. If not go to step
4.
a) Loosen control arm stop bolt D.
b) Start engine.
c) Rotate control arm stop E until wheels
stop turning. Rotate clockwise until the
wheels start to turn. Note position of stop
E. Rotate counterclockwise until the
wheels start to turn in the opposite
direction. Note position of stop. Rotate
stop 1/2 way between this position and
previous position. Wheels should not be
turning.
d) Tighten control arm stop bolt D.
4. Reattach Balljoint B to footpedal. Start
engine. If wheels turn with foot pedal in
neutral, stop engine, loosen locknut and turn
balljoint B in or out as required on cable C.
Reassemble to footpedal. Repeat as needed.
