REAR WHEEL TOE-IN
The rear wheels should have 1/8" (3.2mm) toe-in
from the front of the wheel to the back of the
wheel. Adjust as follows:
1. Loosen locknuts N at balljoints near both rear
wheels.
2. Rotate the tie rod O until wheels are correctly
positioned. Adjust both tie rods an equal
amount.
3. Re-tighten locknuts. The tires should then be
1/8" closer at the front than the rear.
ALTERNATOR BELT
Belt tension should be checked half way between
the crankshaft pulley and alternator pulley. With a
finger force of approximately 11 lb ( 5 Kg) the belt
should deflect 0.2" (5mm) if not adjust as follows:
1. Loosen (2) pivot bolts (underneath the alterna-
tor).
2. Loosen bolt T and move alternator until correct
tension is obtained.
3. Tighten bolt T.
4. Tighten (2) pivot bolts.
