18.1 Watchdog function

With parameter PH27, you can enable or disable activation of the remote supervisor setting. Therefore, it is possible
to restart the unit even with the remote supervisor out of service.
Parameter PH28, on the other hand, enables a controller management mode (called "supervisor DI management") for
which:
the values of the digital inputs are "forced" by writing MODBUS of parameters Pk21-Pk31 (without the need
to enable forcing through the Pd parameters)
Watchdog functionality is enabled.
With active watchdog, the remote supervisor must periodically initialize the dedicated "cntBMS_DI" counter. In case
of initialization, if the counter reaches the time set to PH29 (in minutes), the automatic forcing of the digital inputs is
disabled.
Moreover, when the "cntBMS_DI" counter reaches PH29 minutes, the activation/standby via BMS is also bypassed,
and can proceed with the activation/standby mode via display or physical digital input.
With supervisor-enabled DI management, you cannot force digital inputs from display.
