Only qualified personnel can install or perform technical assistance on the product.
The final customer must use the product only in the manner described in the product documentation.
It is required to follow the instructions listed while also duly observing all additional warnings in the manual:
•
Prevent electronic circuits from getting wet. Rain, moisture and all kinds of liquids or condensing contain corrosive
minerals that can damage electronic circuits. In all events the product must be used or stored in environments that
comply with the temperature and humidity limits specified in the manual;
•
Do not install the device in particularly hot environments. Excessive temperatures can reduce the durability of electronic
devices, damage them and deform or melt plastic parts. In all events the product must be used or stored in environments
that comply with the temperature and humidity limits specified in the manual;
•
Do not attempt to open the device;
•
Do not drop, hit or shake the device because internal circuits and mechanisms could be irreparably damaged;
•
Do not use corrosive chemicals, solvents or aggressive detergents to clean the device;
•
Do not use the product in application areas other than those specified in the technical manual.
All the above suggestions also apply to serial interfaces, programming keys or any other accessory.

Attention: Avoid installing the controller in environments comprising the following:
•
strong vibrations or impacts;
•
exposure to aggressive and polluting atmospheres (e.g. sulfuric and ammoniacal gases, salt mists, fumes) to avoid
corrosion and/or oxidation;
•
strong magnetic interference and/or radio frequency (therefore avoid placing the equipment near transmitting
antennae);
•
exposure to direct solar radiation and atmospheric agents in general.
Attention: for the electrical connection of the controller, observe with the following warnings:
•
if the controller is used differently than specified in this user manual, protection is not guaranteed;
•
do not operate on the terminal boards of the device using electric or pneumatic screwdrivers;
•
if the device is brought from a cold place to a hot place, condensing may occur inside; wait about one hour before
powering it up;
•
disconnect the power supply of the device before proceeding with any kind of maintenance;
•
connect the device to a RS-485 network of devices using twisted pair;
•
place the power cables as far as possible from the signal cables;
•
do not use the device as a safety device;
•
contact your LU-VE sales network for repairs and contact information.
