The LU1W controller signals anomalies and alarms via DO11 output, changeover contact. The activation logic of the
alarm contact is "fail safe", i.e. the output remains active in the absence of anomalies (excited output relay) and is
deactivated when an alarm condition occurs.
Alarms are mainly divided into two categories:
• Alarms with automatic reset as soon as the anomaly is solved
• Alarms requiring a manual reset by the user (via interface display or MODBUS), persisting even when the cause of
the alarm has subsided
For alarm display and reset, see section 3.6 Alarms in progress and alarm history.
Depending on the type, the alarm may consist of a simple warning, or involve different responses (activation /
deactivation of some features, etc.). The next paragraph contains the descriptions of the alarm codes displayed in the
alarm screens, the type of alarm (automatic or manual reset) and any measures implemented by the controller when
the alarms occur.
