product information
WARNING
Failure to avoid the following potentially hazardous
situations could result in an accident or collision resulting
in death or serious injury.
Looking at the map on the navigation screen frequently
or for too long while driving can potentially cause a crash,
and you or others can potentially be seriously injured or
killed.
Keep your eyes and mind on the road and avoid looking at
the navigation screen too often or for too long. Use voice
guidance directions whenever possible.
If you are not familiar with the operation of the navigation
system before you begin driving, you can become
distracted while driving, which can lead to a crash.
Before you begin to operate your navigation system, read
and become familiar with this manual. The navigation
system has built-in features to minimise driver distraction,
but the advanced technology of this system can never
replace your judgement while driving.
Do not use pointed or hard items such as ball-point pens
or pencils for touch screen operation.

controls while driving. Pull over in a safe and legal
manner before attempting such operations.
•
When navigating, carefully compare information
displayed on the device to all available navigation
sources, including road signs, road closures, road
conditions, traffic congestion, weather conditions
and other factors that may affect safety while driving.
For safety, always resolve any discrepancies before
continuing navigation, and defer to posted road signs
and road conditions.
•
The navigation system is designed to provide
route suggestions. It is not a replacement for driver
attentiveness and good judgement. Do not follow
route suggestions if they suggest an unsafe or
illegal manoeuvre or would place the vehicle in an
unsafe situation
Map data information
