Finding locations

Changing the search area

By default, your device finds locations closest to your
current location. You can find a location near another town
or location.

Select > Where To? > Near.

Select an option.

If necessary, select a location.

Saving a home location

You can set your home location for the location you return
to most often.

> Where To? > Go Home.
Select

Select Enter My Address, Use My Current
Location or Recently Found.
The location is saved as "Home" in the Favourites menu
(page 10).
Going home
> Where To? > Go Home.

Select the information box on the map.

Finding recently found places

Your device stores the last 50 locations you have found.

Select > Where To? > Recently Found.

Select a location.
Clearing the list of recently found places
Select Where To? > Recently Found > Clear >
Yes.

Finding parking

Select > Where To? > Points of Interest >
Parking.

Select a parking location.

Setting a simulated location

You can use the Infotainment System to set a simulated
location.

Select > system.
2 Select GPS Simulator > On > OK.

Select > View Map.

Select an area on the map.
5 Select Set Location.

Saving locations

You can save locations so you can quickly find them and
create routes to them.
Saving a location

Search for a location (page 9).

From the search results, select a location.

Select Save.

If necessary, enter a name and select Done.
Saving your current location

From the map, select the vehicle icon.

Select Save.

Enter a name and select Done.

Select OK.
Starting a route to a favourite location

Select > Where To? > Favourites.

If necessary, select a category or select All
Favourites.

Select a location.

Select Go!.
Editing a favourite location

Select > Where To? > Favourites.

If necessary, select a category.

Select a location.

Select More Information > Edit.

Select an option:
• Select Name.
• Select Phone Number.
• To assign categories to the Favourite, select
Categories.
• To change the symbol used to mark the
Favourite on a map, select Change Map
Symbol.

Edit the information.
