INSTALLATION

WARNING
Carry out the unpacking, assembly, lifting and
installation operations described with care.
Failure to comply with these instructions could
damage the machine and put the operator
at risk.

Assembling the equipment

- Unpack the equipment by positioning the
package as indicated.
- Take the personal computer out of the pack-
age.
- Take the monitor out of the special package.
- Install column (7, fig. 1). Column features a
pilot slot at the bottom for floor preliminary
mounting.
- Secure column to the floor using the pilot slot,
then fix cabinet to column (4, fig.1).
- Remove the 2 cabinet rear doors (1, fig.6) to
gain a better back access.
- Remove the front door (2, fig.6) to make cable
connection easier.
- Insert PC and printer inside the cabinet (Fig.
1).
- Connect the USB hub (HUB, fig. 2) to a free
USB port at the back of the PC.
- Install keyboard, mouse and printer by con-
necting them to the USB hub (HUB, fig.2).
- Connect the Software protection key to the
USB hub (SP, fig.2).
- Install the monitor support to the monitor and
fit it on column (1, fig. 1) using the supplied
screws.
- Connect printer to power supply using the
multiple socket positioned on cabinet upper
section, which is dedicated to the electrical
system.
- Connect the monitor to the PC and to the
power supply using the multiple socket po-
sitioned on cabinet upper section, which is
dedicated to the electrical system.
- Install the beam (6, fig. 1) using the supplied
screws.
4 USB cables, 1 POWER cable and 1 cable with
9-pole connector come out of beam lower
opening.
Insert the 4 USB cables inside the Cabinet,
through the rear opening (L1-C1-L2-C2, fig. 2).
- Connect the 2 USB 3.0 camera cables (BLUE)
to two USB 3.0 ports (BLUE) at the back of the
Operator's manual EXACT LINEAR
PC (C1-C2, Figure 2).
- Connect the 2 USB cables with ferrite (LED
boards) to the USB hub (L1-L2, fig. 2) or di-
rectly to the PC.
- Connect the POWER cable to the +12 V outlet
of the stabilised power supply unit (PS, fig. 2).
- In the versions without beam movement,
leave the cable with 9-pole connector discon-
nected. For the versions with beam move-
ment, refer to the installation manual of the
accessory used for the connection of the cable
with 9-pole connector.
- Connect the stabilised power supply unit to
the multiple socket positioned on cabinet
upper section, which is dedicated to the
electrical system (PS, Fig. 2).
- Connect the PC to the multiple socket po-
sitioned on cabinet upper section, which is
dedicated to electrical system (Fig. 2).
- Connect the cables referring to the wiring dia-
gram (Fig. 40); all plugs are univocally marked
on the relevant PC socket. Press the plugs fully
home without applying too much force, and
tighten the safety screws where present.
- The aligner is supplied already preset for a
110-230 Vac power supply.
- Fit the bracket supports to cabinet (10, fig.1),
using the supplied screws.
- Fit the upper customisation metal sheet (9,
fig.1) using the supplied screws.
- Fit the lower customisation metal sheet (8,
fig.1) using the supplied screws.
- Fit cabinet upper shelf (2, fig.1) by fixing it in
place with the supplied screws.
- Fit the front door (2, fig.6).
- Fit the 2 rear doors of cabinet (1, fig.6).
- Position keyboard, mouse and mousepad on
cabinet upper shelf.
- Read chapter "Electrical Connection" and then
insert power cable inside the relevant socket.
- Turn the aligner on using the main light switch
positioned on cabinet RH side, then turn on
also monitor and printer through the relevant
switches.
- If necessary, update aligner software refer-
ring to chapter "Aligner software update" and
install any optional kit referring to chapter
"Additional function installation".
