General troubleshooting and fault rectification

NOTICE!
Some fault messages always require the pump to be sent to the customer
service department because the messages relate to control levels that can be
accessed only by this department.
Refer to the information in

Fault description
Metering pump not working.
No display for 'EcoAdd' .
Pump not sucking in despite bleeding and max.

Metering head is leaky; medium comes out
through the diaphragm rupture drain.
No metering despite full metering container.

Fault messages

If a fault message is triggered, the display on the pump shows an ALARM
together with the fault code and a cause.
The background of the display is shown in red and the fault message must be
acknowledged

NOTICE!
When using a USB memory stick, it must be formatted using FAT 16 or FAT 32
as otherwise it will not be detected by the pump. The size of the memory stick
should not be too large as the data volume does not require too much space
and this could result in read errors.

Cause
Mains cable damaged.
Incorrect voltage.

Remedy
Change mains cable.
Check mains voltage.
Flush out the metering head using
the suction tube; if necessary, also
remove the valves and clean or
replace them.
Tighten the metering head
fastening screws crosswise.
Replace diaphragm.
Make float functional.
Tighten connector, clean contacts,
check whether link connector is
inserted.
Replace empty signal device.
