General notes on images used
The control unit/software described in this chapter relates exclusively to the
'EcoAdd' pump type. The overviews shown for the menu levels are shown
only for the first setting level. The subsequent screens show example displays
for a pump with a capacity of 11 l/h. The illustrations and information shown will
differ for other pump sizes.
In the graphical representations, instructions for the individual action steps are
shown by

CAUTION!
When the pump is started for the first time, NO ACCESS CODE is
activated.
To prevent misuse of and/or unintentional adjustment of the system
parameters, the pump software must be protected by the integrated multi-stage
[Access code]. We recommend that you activate the [Access code] during
initial configuration and only disclose the passwords to authorised persons:

Setting an access code also protects the pump against unauthorised
access using a smartphone connected via Bluetooth. If a pump is not
protected, all its functions can be accessed using the EcoAPP.
If an access code has been defined in the pump, this is visible in the EcoAPP
after the access code has been entered there.

It is possible to use a smartphone and the Ecolab
EcoAPP to communicate with the pump for control
and monitoring purposes.
However, a further explanation of these functions is
not available in these operating instructions.
