Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Information
The UG 300/UG 400 transformer/earth leakage
monitor is suitable for use in professional health
care facilities.
Professional healthcare facility includes physician
offices, dental offices, limited care facilities,
freestanding surgical centers, freestanding birth
centers, multiple treatment facilities, hospitals
(emergency rooms, patient rooms, intensive care,
surgical rooms, outside the RF shielded room of an
ME system for magnetic resonance imaging).

Electromagnetic environment – guidance
Floors should be wood, concrete or ceramic tile. If
floors are covered with synthetic material, the relative
humidity should be at least 30%.
Mains power quality should be that of a typical
commercial or hospital environment.

Mains power quality should be that of a typical
commercial or hospital environment.
If image distortion occurs, it may be necessary to
position the transformer/earth leakage monitor further
from sources of electromagnetic fields or to install
shielding. The power frequency magnetic field should
be measured in the intended installation location to
assure that it is sufficiently low.
