1. Connect the hydraulic connections (pos.5 and 6) to the tractor
2. Give pressure with tractor pump: in a few seconds manometer
(pos.21) will reach a pressure value of 120 bar
3. Stop tractor pump.
4. Proceed with cultivation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

a. Manometer reaches a pressure value different from 120bar.
What can I do?
-While giving pressure with tractor pump, act on the adjustment
screw located on the side of the fi rst Maximum Pressure Valve
(pos.9 – closest to the tractor). You must turn the adjustment screw
clockwise (if the indicated pressure value is lower than 120bar) or
counterclockwise (if the indicated pressure value is higher than
120 bar).
Never act on second MPV (pos.9 – furthest from the tractor): this
second MPV is regulated at a fi x value of 200 bar and has the
function of safety valve.
d.During in-fi eld cultivation, the hydraulic system discharges
to a working pressure lower that the expected value of 120
bar. What can I do?
There can be two reasons: working conditions are too heavy or the
second MPV is not regulated at the right pressure value.
When heavy conditions are reached, the auto-reset tine movement
can generate pressure greater than 200 bar: this value is the maxi-
mum tolerable by accumulators, so the second MPV valve acts by
discharging this pressure wave through pipe pos.14.
At this point you must recharge the hydraulic system starting from
point 2.
c. I want to check if the second MVP is regulated at the right
pressure value of 200 bar. How can I do?
Just connect to the tractor only the implement oil supply con-
nection (pos.5) leaving return line (pos.6) disconnected and give
pressure.

The manometer (pos.21) must reach a pressure value of 200 bar.
When this value is reached, oil starts to fl ow through overpressure
discharge pipe (pos.14).
If the manometer reaches a different pressure value, you can act
on the adjustment screw located on the side of the valve: you must
turn the adjustment screw clockwise (if the indicated pressure
value is lower than 200 bar) or counterclockwise (if the indicated
pressure value is higher than 200 bar).
After this checking, restore the connections like in point 1.
d. I want to discharge implement hydraulic for maintenance.
How can I do?
- Just open the tap (pos.13) gradually: oil will fl ow through discharge
pipe (pos.14).
e. When MPV safety valve acts during in-fi eld cultivation, will
the implement lose oil on ground?
-No, oil will remain inside the discharge pipe (pos.14) because of
its viscosity and low pipe section.
