3.0 RULES OF USE

To obtain the best performance from the equipment, carefully follow
what is set out below.
ATTENTION
The following maintenance, adjustment, and work preparation
operations must be performed with the tractor off and locked
fi rmly in position with the key removed from the dashboard
and the equipment positioned on the ground.

3.1 ATTACHMENT AND DETACHMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT

3.1.1 AIR-HYDRAULIC SERVICE WITH NITROGEN
ACCUMULATOR
The recharge of the accumulator will be performed strictly by
MASCHIO-GASPARDO ROMANIA S.R.L. authorized personnel.
Avoid hitting the nitrogen accumulator.
High pressure and dangerous gas!
Do not use oxigen or compressed air. Precharge only with
nitrogen gas.
A periodical checking of the accumulator is necessary. For
additional information consult the producer of the accumulator.

UNIT ASSEMBLING
1. Place accumulators unit on the implement and fi x it with n°4 M12
bolts through the appropriate holes. (Fig.5)
2. With the implement lifted off the ground (no contact between
tines and ground),connect the two hydraulic quick connectors
between accumulators unit and implement hydraulic unit.Be
sure of a good connection between connectors because of the
high pressure value during work. (Fig.6)
To do this:
a) Verify that in the accumulators unit there is no pressure (read
its value on manometer: this must be zero). In case of pressure,
open the drain manual valve to discharge it (pay attention: oil
fl ux can exit from the drain tube); (Fig.6)
b) Verify that in the cylinder hydraulic lines there is no pressure by
pushing on male quick-connectors head.
After quick connectors connection, verify that there is no contact
between various hydraulic tubes and tine structures and that
said various tubes are out of tine structures movement (during
their working excursion) range.
3. Verify that the drain manual valve is closed, connect the machine
to tractor and give pressure with tractor hydraulic pump. Maybe
that the implement hydraulic unit has air bubbles inside: for
draining them the drain manual valve can be used by gradually
opening it (pay attention: oil and air high pressure fl uxes can
exit from the drain tube). (Fig.6)
After air bubbles draining, be sure that the drain manual valve
is closed for going to work.
4. Remove the n°4 tine security bolts before in-fi eld operations:
these security bolts avoid tine movements. (Fig.7)
Before maintenance operations or accumulator unit disassembling
remember to:
1. Always apply the n°4 tine security bolts to avoid unexpected tine
