consecutive spins in automatic mode.
If the calibration has been successful, a permission acoustic signal goes off at the end of
the spin; otherwise, the E 2 message is temporarily displayed.

External MECHANICAL sensor calibration (if present)
This procedure is used to calibrate the potentiometer of the external sensor (width). It
must be performed when the machine requests it by displaying the E4 message, or when
the measured and the actual rim widths differ.
- Select the Width measuring device calibration icon
- Bring the automatic width measuring arm into contact with the wheel contact flange as
shown in Fig. 24.
- Select the Enter
- Return the arm to the rest position.
If the calibration has been carried out successfully, a confirmation message will be
displayed.
If the A20 message is displayed the measuring device position in the calibration phase
is not correct. Position it correctly, as described above, and repeat the procedure.
Select the Exit
This programme displays some data that are used to test machine operation and to detect
the malfunctioning of some devices. Since these data are not useful for the operator, it is
