Air-conditioner with heat
Fit the seal into the drain elbow,
then insert the drain joint into the
base pan hole of outdoor unit,
rotate 90 to securely assemble
them. Connecting the drain joint with
an extension drain hose (Locally
purchased), in case of the water
draining off the outdoor unit during
the heating mode.

Installation of outside unit
After locating the ideal position for
installing the unit (as described in
chap. 2.4.1 and 2.4.2) proceed as
follows:
- Position the unit on the base, if
necessary using the antivibration
1 air inlet
2 air outlet
- Screw any fastening nuts without
tightening them fully.
- Check the level of the unit with a
bubble level and shim if neces-
sary.
- Tighten the fastening nuts, if any.

Befestigen Sie die Dichtung im
E n t w ä s s e r u n g s w i n k e l s t ü c k ,
setzen Sie anschließend die
Entwässerungskupplung in die
Öffnung der Sockelplatte und drehen
Sie um 90°, um die Teile korrekt
zusammenzubauen. Verbinden
Sie die Entwässerungskupplung
mit einer (vor Ort gekauften)
Entwässerungsrohr-Verlängerung,
falls während des Betriebs im
Heizungs-Modus Wasser aus der
Außeneinheit treten sollte.

Montage der Außeneinheit
Nach der Positionierung der Einheit
an der vorgesehenen Stelle (siehe
Abschnitt 2.4.1 und 2.4.2) ist wie
folgt vorzugehen:
- Die Einheit auf dem Gestell
positionieren und, falls erforderlich,
die schwingungsdämpfenden
Gummipuffer anbringen (Abb. 17).

- Eventuelle Befestigungsmuttern
(nicht zu fest) anziehen.
- Die Einheit unter Zuhilfenahme
