A 1 User information
A 1.1 Important information
The laser instruments are intended only for
dental treatments in customary dental
medicine.
For all information on radiation safety, see
the Instructions for use of the KEY Laser 1242.
The general guidelines and/or national laws
and national regulations applicable to
medical products and the rules of industry
are to be applied for commissioning and
during operation to the KaVo product in
accordance with the prescribed purpose and
are to be fulfilled.
According to these provisions, it is the duty
of the user
• to use only fault-free operating materials.
• to ensure that the product is used for the
intended purpose.
• to use only instructed personnel.
• to protect himself, the patient and third
parties from danger.
• to avoid contamination by the product.
• to limit the action of light to the area to be
treated in the oral cavity.
