PERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Dismantling handpiece P 2056:
• Pull off the handpiece from the tube
coupling (see A 2.2).
• Carefully mount tool # on the optical
fibre guide @ and unscrew the latter.
Avoid damaging the optical fibre tip
when setting down and storing.
• Hold the instrument by the instrument
sleeve Ì, unscrew the sleeve nut | and
pull out the inner part \ of the instrument.
• Close the inner part of the instrument with
stoppers at front and back.
• Seal the instrument sleeve in a bag and
autoclave.
• Seal the optical fibre tip separately in a bag
and autoclave.
• Assemble in reverse order.
The laser handpiece P should be used only
in the completely assembled state.

Checking the transmission of the instrument
during the annual safety check of the KEY
LASER 1242.
