To level mower
Make sure tires are properly inflated - psi on the
tires themselves. If tires are over or underinflated,
it will affect the appearance of your lawn, and
you may think that your mower is not properly
adjusted.
Visual side-to-side adjustment
1. If your lawn seems to be cut unevenly, and all
tires are properly inflated, check which side of
the mower is cutting closer to the ground.
Note:
You can either raise the lowest side or lower
the highest side, as you wish.
2. Go to the side you wish to adjust.
3. With a 3/4" wrench, turn lift link adjustment
nut (A) to the left (to lower the mower) or to
the right (to raise the mower).
Turn nut to the
right to raise
mower
Note:
Each full turn of adjustment nut will change
mower height about 4.8 mm.
4. Test your adjustment by cutting part of the
lawn not yet cut; check for results. Readjust if
necessary.
Precision side-to-side adjustment
1. With tires properly inflated, park tractor on
level surface.
Mower blades are sharp and can cut. Wrap
the blade(s) with thick fabric and/or wear
gloves.
2. Raise mower to its highest position.
3. On both sides of mower, place blade
sideways and measure height (A) from bottom
edge of mower to ground. The distance on
both sides of mower should be the same.
4. If adjustment is necessary, check steps 2 and
3 of Visual Adjustment above.
5. Recheck measurements and adjust (if
necessary) until both sides have the same
height.

Important:
mower
Deck must be level side-toside. To obtain the
best cutting results, the mower blades shall
be adjusted so that the front is approximately
3.2 to 12.7 mm lower than the rear when the
mower is in its highest position.
