Battery connection

Caution!
Do not short battery terminals by allowing a
wrench or any other object to contact both
terminals at the same time. Before connecting
battery, remove metal bracelets, wristwatches,
rings, loose clothes etc. The positive terminal
must be connected first to prevent sparking
from accidental grounding.
1. Raise the base of the seat to its highest
position.
2. Remove and discard terminal guards.
Note:
Should the battery be first used after the
month and year stated on the label (located
between the terminals), charge it for at least
one hour at 6 - 10 A.
3. First connect one end of the Red cable to the
Positive (+) terminal with hex bolt and nut as
shown in the figure.
4. Connect Black grounding cable to Negative
(-) terminal with remaining hex bolt and nut.
Tighten securely.
