Aim Adjustment
The headlight is of utmost importance for your safety.
If badly adjusted, it reduces the visibility and blinds
the vehicles coming from the opposite direction.
Although the headlight illuminates intensively with a
deep downward inclination, it reduces the visibility field
bringing it too close to the motorcycle. With a null
inclination, the vicinity of the motorcycle will not be
illuminated and, even in the distance, headlight
effectiveness will be poor.
When riding at night, you will soon notice if headlight
adjustment is necessary. Make sure you check the
adjustment before leaving.

1. Park the motorcycle in the upright position (without
supporting it on its stand), with the center of the
front wheel 10 m (11 yd) from and perpendicular to
a flat wall, preferably not reflective.
2. Adjust the tire pressure according to the
specifications.
3. Loosen the headlight fasteners and move the
headlight up or down until its projection is within
specifications.
4. Tighten the headlight fasteners.
Note:
Passenger and cargo weight may considerably
affect headlight adjustment. Vary the adjustment
considering the weight of the passenger and
cargo.
