ATTENTION
The motorcycle should never be ridden without the
air cleaner. If it is not installed, dust and dirt will
enter the engine causing premature wear to the
carburetor, cylinder and piston rings.
WARNING
The air cleaner is fitted with a mesh that prevents
flame return through the intake duct. If the air
cleaner is missing, the motorcycle may be damaged
or a fire may result.

Engine Oil

Recommended Oil
Use only high detergent, high quality engine oil
certified on the container to meet the requirements for
API Service Classification SE, SF or SG.
Viscosity should be based on average atmospheric
temperature in your riding area. The diagram provides a
guide to select the proper oil grade or viscosity to be
used at various atmospheric temperatures.
