Store stations

You can store up to 20 FM stations and up to 10 AM stations (AM band).
Store stations manually
Set the station which you wish to save.
Press PROGRAM . The programme position last selected flashes in the
display. On first use of the unit P 0 1 flashes.
If you want to store the station in this programme position, press
ENTER
. If a station was saved there previously, this will be overwritten.
The programme position stops flashing.
If you want to store the station in another programme position, select
another programme position with STATION
ENTER
.
To store other stations, repeat these four steps.
Store stations automatically – AUTO MEM
You can store all the strong stations from one band at once.
Select the desired band. Press the button AUTO MEM . A search is
started. The stations found are stored in consecutive programme
positions ( P 0 1 – P 2 0 for FM, P 0 1 – P 1 0 for AM). Existing stations
which have been stored are overwritten.
At the end of the current frequency band, the unit jumps automatically
to the other frequency band and carries out the search there.
You must use this store function, if you want to use the PTY-search
function (see "PTY search function", p. 38). By preference the
AUTO-MEM function searches for stations with the RDS function.

Stored stations are selected with the STATION (or on the unit SKIP)

. Each time that you press the button, it moves to
the next programme position.
Automatic station storage
Stored stations are not lost when you switch off the unit. If however the
unit is disconnected from the mains the stored stations may become lost.
If you select another operating mode (DVD or AUX) or go into Standby
mode, the last station selected is stored. It will be started the next time
that you switch on the radio.
