TITLE MENU, DVD MENU
Use the buttons TITLE MENU and DVD MENU to call up the menus on the
DVD.
With the following selections DVD MENU and TITLE MENU the message
ROOT appears in the display.
Use the navigation buttons to move around the options in the DVD
menus. Confirm each selection with ENTER .
Please note that the menus displayed depend on the DVD e. g. some
DVDs have only one menu, and this will appear with both options.
AUDIO and SUBTITLE MENU
If they are available on the DVD, these two functions are the quickest way
to change the selected languages for speech and subtitles.
Please note however that this function is unavailable on many DVDs.
Select spoken language
Press the button AUDIO MENU/AUDIO L/R . On the screen appears e. g.

languages available on the DVD.
Press AUDIO MENU/AUDIO L/R repeatedly, to select one of the other
languages on the DVD. The selection is implemented immediately and
does not need to be confirmed.
In certain cases other information can be read from the DVD, e. g.
information about the sound format ( 5 . 1 C H or similar). The information
disappears after a few seconds.
Select subtitle language
Press the button SUBTITLE MENU/PBC . On the screen appears e. g.
S U B T I T L E 0 2 / 0 5 S P A N I S H
five subtitle languages available on the DVD.
Press SUBTITLE MENU/PBC repeatedly, to select one of the other
subtitle languages on the DVD. The selection is implemented
immediately and does not need to be confirmed.
The information disappears after a few seconds.
