Your unit has an integrated radio with RDS-function and programme store
for up to 30 entries.
To connect the aerials see "Connection of aerials", p. 14.
The radio is started by pressing the button FUNCTION on the remote
control or on the unit once or twice, until a frequency band is displayed.
The display is structured as follows:
Select frequency band
Press the button BAND/DIGEST or BAND on the unit, to switch between
the FM band (VHF) and the AM band (medium wave). The selected
band is shown in the display.
You can set the radio stations manually and automatically.
Set stations manually
To set a station manually, press the button TUNING
you have found a station. Each time you press the button the searcher
moves
– in the FM band by 0.1 MHz,
– in the AM band by 10 kHz.
Keep the TUNING button depressed to start a rapid search. To stop the
search, press TUNING again.
When a station has been found, the following message appears in the
display: TUNING, and, if this is a stereo station, the display ST. This function
enables you to connect to weaker transmitters in particular.
If a STEREO transmission is received with interference, you may be
able to improve the reception is by changing over to MONO. To do
this, press the ST/MONO button. The following appears in the
display MONO.
Set stations automatically
Strong stations can be sought automatically.
Press the button TUNING
automatic search is started. The search stops when the first strong
stations is found. You can stop the rapid search by pressing
TUNING
again.
