Equipment set-up
Place the unit on a level solid surface.
Take care that the ventilation louvers are not covered, to ensure
sufficient ventilation at all times
do not allow direct heat to reach the unit
do not allow direct sunlight on the unit
avoid contact with moisture or water
do not place the unit in the immediate vicinity of magnetic fields
(e.g. television or other loudspeakers).
Some aggressive furniture lacquers can attack the unit's rubber feet. If
necessary, place the unit on an underlay.
Setting up loudspeakers
Ideally set the loudspeakers of your unit in an arc around the listening
position, as shown here:
The center speaker, which typically transmits speech, and the two front
speakers should ideally stand in a raised position at the same level.
The distance of the speakers from the listening position are significant only
for the strength of the sound, not for its overall quality.
If arrangement in an arc is not possible, this can be balanced out in the

ONNECTIONS AND CONNECTION POSSIBILITIES
The subwoofer
While ideally the front, center-
and rear speakers should
stand in a raised position, the
subwoofer must stand on the
floor.
The subwoofer is a bass box
for supporting low
frequencies. It reflects the
frequencies through its base
(not through the front) – the
frequencies themselves are
not audible. The location and
direction of the subwoofer in
the room are therefore
unimportant.
