GENERAL SETUP menu

In the SETUP menu confirm the submenu G E N E R A L S E T U P with
ENTER . The menu opens and has six submenus and the title M A I N
P A G E
.
In the active menu ( T V D I S P L A Y ) a selection menu is simultaneously
open on the right hand side. The current setting has a coloured
background.
TV DISPLAY
This is where you adjust your unit to the display format of your television.
NORMAL/PS: Selection for television with 4:3 format. The Pan Scan format
displays 16:9 film formats at their full height; lateral parts of
the image are cropped.
NORMAL/LB: Selection for television with 4:3 format. The letterbox format
reduces the 16:9 film format to the screen width.
WIDE: Selection for television with 16:9 format.
To modify a setting, navigate to the desired value, and confirm with
ENTER

TV TYPE
This is where you select the colour standard of your television:
N T S C
: normal colour format for North America
P A L
: normal colour format for many European countries
VIDEO OUT
This is where you select the colour format to be output from your SCART
connector.
S C A R T / C V B S
: The video signal is output via the CVBS
connection (standard).
S C A R T / R G B
: The video signal is output via the RGB
connection. This colour format is of higher
quality, but is not supported by all television sets.
ANGLE MARK
O N
: If scenes on the DVD from various camera positions are
stored, these are automatically indicated by a symbol on
the screen.
O F F
: The symbol does not appear at this setting.
OSD LANGUAGE
This is where the language of the On-Screen display is set, i. e. the
language for the menus of the DVD player. You may choose between
English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Dutch.
When the language is changed, the menu display changes immediately.
