The level of the battery indicator shows the approximate state of charge of the battery.
State of charge < 70%
As soon as the battery symbol 100% appears, the battery is fully charged and trickle charging is active.
Diagram key
By pressing the diagram key, the charging current curve can be analyzed at any
time.
With the course of the charging current and the display of the charged ampere
hours, a conclusion can be drawn about the condition of the battery at any time.
An intact battery will initially draw the maximum charge current for a certain time, depending on the state of charge, and
then the charge current reduces to a minimum value of 1 A over several hours. If, for example, the charged capacity is less
than 50% of the nominal capacity printed on the battery when it has previously been completely discharged, it can be
assumed that the battery is approaching the end of its service life.
State of charge < 90%
If the charged capacity is significantly larger (>130%)
than the printed battery capacity and the charging
current does not decrease over several hours, the
battery must be checked for a cell short circuit.
