7.5 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Because all the combined series units are tested in terms of their moving and operating parts, no faults should occur, nevertheless:
Transport, unloading, handling, incorrect use or lack of maintenance can cause problems, in which case refer to the troubleshooting chart
the end user,
skilled technical personnel,
the dealer's technicians or Sicar SpA.
If after performing the operations described below, the problem/s is/are not remedied, contact the after-sales service of Sicar S.p.A., or that of your nearest Sicar dealer.
The machine fails to start
Does not cut
Not square up
Blades touch
No power
Fuses
Power cable
Thermal magnetic cutout
Emergency
Starter
Microswitch
Belt s
Support rule
Carriage not parallel
Check external switch or direct supply
Replace these, if magnetic reset
Carefully tighten the cables on the terminal board
Wait a couple of minutes and press the black button again
If this continues to trip, contact a technician for possible replacement
Release the mushroom-shaped emergency button
Belt cover plate not fitted properly
Starter open, place in zero position
Probable contact of auxiliary not closing, see a technician
Micro on belt tensioning hole broken, to be changed
Belt slack, tension, using the jack
blade not suitable for cutting, check and fit the correct blade
Blade does not cut, check and have sharpened
Blade dirty with resin, soak for 12 hours in solvent or replace
Presence of sawdust in trestle. Remove
Rule to be adjusted
Carriage to be adjusted, contact a technician or SICAR directly
