General information
General information
All tools are protected from overheating the motor by a de-
vice which cuts the power if the temperature rises abnor-
mally. When the temperature goes down again, the overheat
protection device resets automatically.
Electrical protection is based on two systems. One is passive
and earths the entire equipment and the other system is using
a fuse.
Changing, interfering or tampering with the protective sys-
tems voids all warranty and obligation from Atlas Copco.
Trouble-shooting and re-start of the system may only be car-
ried out by an authorized person.
Also check the continuity of the ground loop from the tool
body to proper earth. This control is recommended to be car-
ried out at least once every month.
