TRANSPORTATION SAFETY
ƒ Transportation of the machine
while it is coupled to the tractor
must not be done on public roads
and highways. This practice must
be limited to properties and rural
areas. Check the Department of
Transportation on the rules and
applicable laws in your region, as
well as the existing possibility of
transporting the machine with the
tractor on certain parts of roads.
Ask for guidance, authorization
and procedures in writing.
ƒ Keep alert regarding the height of
transportation, especially under
viaducts.
ƒ Never exceed a safe transportation
speed. Reduce your speed and be
careful in rough terrain as well as
in winding roads. Always drive
the tractor in compatible speeds,
in accordance with field or road
conditions.
ƒ Never allow people to stand on
any parts of the machine while it
is being used for transportation
or operation.
ƒ When you transport the machine,
be extra cautious with the power
grid, since there is risk of shock if
there is contact with the electrical
wiring. Keep away from high
voltage power lines. Risk of
electrocution. (Death caused by
electrical energy).
ƒ Do not drink and drive.

PERSONAL SAFETY

ƒ Personal safety as well as other people's is
one of our major concerns in the design and
development of a machine. However, every year
there are a lot of accidents that could have been
prevented. They happen mainly due to lack of
attention and observation of safety rules during
the operation. Read this manual carefully and
keep alert all the time.
ƒ Never operate the machine if you are under
the effect of alcoholic beverages, medicine or
drugs that might harm your alert state or your
coordination.
ƒ Wear Personal Protective Equipment – PPE
– when you operate the machine. Prolonged
exposure to noise might cause harm or hearing
loss.
ƒ Dress appropriately when you operate the
machine – tying long hair and not wearing
loose-fitting clothes is highly recommended.
Take off rings, necklaces and other objects that
might get stuck in the machine parts or moving
components. Loose-fitting clothes and long hair
might get caught by mechanisms in operation.
ƒ Always keep your hands at a safe distance from
moving parts.
ƒ Do not enter or allow anyone to enter the
bag, since there is risk of imprisonment and
suffocation.
ƒ Never attempt to clean or clear the endless screw
when the machine is turned-on. This procedure
can only be performed when the PTO is off, the
ignition key is removed from the tractor and the
machine is completely stationary.
ƒ Never put your hands in the grinding mill when
the machine is on.
