Special 4-stroke

 Press the "Up" S13 and "Wire diameter" S6 buttons simulta-
neously for 5 seconds until the multifunction display "Cus-
tomize settings" appears.
Function 4-stroke 2
 Switch the "4-stroke 2" to On.
 You can switch between welding current and second cur-
rent by briefly pressing the torch switch (only available in
4 stroke mode).
Function 4-stroke TT
 Turn the "4-stroke TT" to On.
 You can now switch between the current job and the next
job by briefly pressing the torch switch.
‰ If 4-stroke 2 and 4-stroke TT is set to On, you can step
forward through all active jobs of the current job set by
briefly pressing the torch switch.
13.10

Tiptronic

The Tiptronic function provides the user with 100 separate
jobs (10 job sets, each consisting of 10 jobs). All settings and
adjustments made on the user interface are stored in each job.
The Tiptronic function can be used beneficially e.g. by allocat-
ing frequently arising welding jobs to specific job numbers,
or different welders can save "their" individual settings in their
job.
Programming a job:
 Determine the optimum welding settings.
 Press the "TT Save" S4 button (the Save signal lamp blinks).
 Select the target job number with the buttons S3 (-) and
S9 (+) or with the torch rocker and confirm with the button
"TT Enter" S7 (if the Enter button is not actuated, the Save
signal lamp goes out 10 seconds after the last button is
pushed, and the save process is abandoned).

Selecting a job:
 Press the "Tiptronic" S10 button to switch on the Tiptronic
function (signal lamp S11 is lit).
 Select the job number with the torch rocker (the job num-
ber can alternatively be selected with the buttons S3 (-)
and S9 (+)).
‰ If you want to exit the Tiptronic mode, press the "Tiptronic"
S10 button (the Tiptronic signal lamp goes out). The pa-
rameters are then reset to the values that were set before
Tiptronic mode was switched on.
Deactivating a job:
 Press the "Tiptronic" S10 button to switch on the Tiptronic
function (signal lamp S11 is lit).
 Select the job number with the torch rocker 71 or with
the buttons S3 (-) and S9 (+) (an active job is indicated in
the torch display 70 and in the 7-segment display S21 by
a decimal point between the job set and the job number).
 Hold down the button "TT Enter" S7 for two seconds (the
decimal point in the torch display 70 and in the 7-segment
display S21 goes out).
Activating a job:
 Press the "Tiptronic" S10 button to switch on the Tiptronic
function (signal lamp S11 is lit).
 Select the job number with the buttons S3 (-) and S9 (+) (in
the case of an inactive job, the decimal point between the
job set and the job number will be missing).
 Hold down the button "TT Enter" S7 for two seconds (the
decimal point between the job set and the job set lights
up).
Reprogramming a job:
 Switch on the Tiptronic function with the button "Tiptron-
ic" S10 and select the job (see job selection).
 Change the settings as desired.
 Press the "TT Save" S4 button (the Save signal lamp blinks).
 Press the "TT Enter" button to confirm your selection.

that programming has ended.
Copying a job:
 Switch on the Tiptronic function with the button "Tiptron-
ic" S10 and select the job to be copied (see job selection).
 Press the "TT Save" S4 button (the Save signal lamp blinks).
 Select the target job number with the buttons S3 (-) and
S9 (+) and confirm with the button "TT Enter" (if the En-
ter button is not actuated, the Save signal lamp goes out
10 seconds after the last button is pushed, and the save
process is abandoned). If the desired job number is not al-
ready assigned to a job, the number blinks on the display.
9 The Save and Enter signal lamps blink briefly to indicate
that programming has ended.
9 The user-defined job texts will be also be copied to the
new target job number.
