Using LATCH

1. Position Base on a forward facing vehicle seat with
the Leveling Foot toward the vehicle seat back.
2. Fully extend the Leveling Foot to access the
LATCH connectors. Remove each connector by
pushing the RED
3. Lengthen the strap between the connectors
using the LATCH Strap Adjuster located next to the
connector on the right-hand side. Push down on
the Adjuster button while lenghtening strap. (b)
4. Adjust the Leveling Foot to the correct angle
for your child's size as shown on the Level
Indicator. See page 36 for more details.
5. Fully open Belt Tensioning Plate by turning
the ORANGE Locking Lever to the
position and lifting up on the Plate.
Once open, the Belt Tensioning Plate will remain
open on its own. The Locking Lever should be in the
OPEN position with the Plate open.
6. Attach both LATCH Connectors to the Lower
LATCH Anchors. Each should make an audible
CLICK when attached. Make sure they are
attached by pulling rmly on the connectors.
