2.6 Symbols on product labels
• The Hot Surface warning decal alerts the operator to hot
temperatures on Cercon
prevail near the sintering chamber, especially in the case
of higher sintering temperatures.
• High temperatures may be encountered especially at the
top of the sintering chamber (> 65 °C) and on the sinter-
ing trays (200 °C)!
• The Dangerous Voltage warning decal on the device
housing has the following meaning:
• Hazardous voltage inside the unit.
• All repairs must be performed by authorized DeguDent
GmbH personnel only.
• Only by authorized DeguDent GmbH personell are
allowed to open the unit and to work on electrical
components.
• Disconnect the power cord before opening the unit.
• Do not place any objects into the ventilation slits. Protect
from moisture.
• Use only accessories approved for use with Cercon
plus.
• Use only original replacement parts.
• See Instructions for use before usage of the unit.
2.7 Thermal safety notes
The unit is a Thermal Protection Class 0 device pursuant
to EN 60519-2 (without safety control).
The electrical circuitry of the unit is designed for operation
at ambient air temperatures of between + 0 °C till + 40 °C.
Humidity: 5 – 90% non-condensing.
In the presence of higher temperatures, electrical switch-
gear cooling must be used. In the presence of high levels
of relative humidity and very low temperatures, heaters
must be used.
Make sure that all covers are in place and properly
fastened at all times.
Storage temperature: -40 °C till + 65 °C.
Ambient temperature unit: 0 °C - + 40 °C.
Otherwise you may reckon the life time of the electrical
endurance.
